Happy WIP (Work In Progress) Wednesday everyone! Hope the week’s been good so far…if not, at least we’ve got a few more days for things to turn around.
This week’s fanart WIP is a piece based around Sophie and Agatha, characters from Soman Chainani’s ‘The School for Good and Evil’ series!
It’s still a pretty underrated series in my opinion and doesn’t get as much fanart done by ‘big’ Instagram artists (not that I’ve seen anyway). One of my friends used to do a lot of SGE fanart, and it was absolutely amazing, but she’s taken a step back from it now (which is fair enough!).
(I may or may not be slightly obsessed with the golden acrylics they have at the library art group where I volunteer…)
Sophie (the blonde) turned out a little more masculine than I’d planned, but actually I think that’s fitting especially regarding events in Book 2 (‘A World Without Princes’)!
I just have the background to do for Agatha (the brunette), and maybe some touch-ups, and I think I’ll be done. Hopefully it’ll be finished by Sunday – this week has been much slower than the fanart bender I had last week!
